Aqueous Geochemistry Lab Home Page
The common thread in research conducted in our aqueous geochemistry laboratory is mineral surface chemistry and reactivity. We currently study processes that are of importance in environmental chemistry, medical mineralogy, and prebiotic chemistry. Visit other sections of our website to learn more about the people that conduct the research, their results, and tools.
Our group is part of the Center for Environmental Molecular Science (CEMS) at Stony Brook University as well as the Penn State Astrobiology Research Center.
Infrared (FTIR) and Raman spectra of minerals and rocks are available in our Spectral database of minerals and rocks.
